Lançamento do Citroën C3 Picasso

A Citroën lança nesta quarta-feira dia 25 o C3 Picasso. Ele chega em 3 versões com todas com motor 1.6 16V Flex e vem para competir com o Chevrolet Meriva, Fiat Idea, Kia Soul e Honda Fit.

Todas as versões têm direção hidráulica assistida, computador de bordo e vidros dianteiros elétricos.

A versão GL é a versão de entrada com câmbio manual, custa a partir de R$ 47.990.

Na versão GLX que parte de R$ 50,4 mil na versão manual e R$ 53,9 mil na versão automática. Que traz de série os itens da versão GL e ainda rodas de liga leve, faróis de neblina, rádio com comando no volante e vidros traseiros elétricos e na automática ainda traz ABS e EBD.

E ainda tem as versões Exclusive Manual e Exclusive FlexBVA Automático que traz de série os equipamentos presentes na versão GLX BVA, possui de série ar condicionado digital, revestimento dos bancos em couro/3D, Rádio Pioneer for Citroën com kit viva voz Bluetooth®, uma entrada USB + iPod, airbag duplo (frontal), piloto automático e limitador de velocidade, volante revestido em couro e com detalhes cromados, sensor de estacionamento traseiro, acendimento automático de faróis, para-brisa com sensor de chuva, apoio de braço central dianteiro (2), alarme (com 2 plips de abertura das portas à distância), manopla do câmbio esportivo ZAMAC, retrovisores exteriores cromados, entre outros. Como opcionais a versão oferece airbags de tórax laterais dianteiros e sistema de navegação MyWay com tela colorida de 7”. Com preços sugeridos de R$ 57.400. E a Exclusive equipada com o câmbio automatico sai por R$ 60.400.

Linha 2012 do Citroën C3

A Citroën lançou o lançamento da linha C3 2012. As modanças maiores ficaram por conta dos itens de série.

Na versão C3 Exclusive virá equipado com ar-condicionado automático, faróis com acedimento automático e sensor de chuva, antes oferecidos como opcionais. Na parte estética, o modelo também ganhou novas rodas de liga leve.

Já na versão GLX os bancos vem com nova padronageme, direção com assistência elétrica, acionamento elétrico dos vidros dianteiros e traseiros, espelhos retrovisores externos com regulagem elétrica, travas elétricas, computador de bordo e volante com regulagem de altura e profundidade.

Os preços sugeridos para a linha 2012 do Citroën C3 partem de R$ 37.990.

The new model also fuels Citroën's thinking of focusing on the essentials to create original cars that are affordable and economical, while losing none of their ambition or motoring passion, notably through premium styling.

Stylishly minimalist and elegantly laid-back, the Citroën Lacoste instantly attracts with its off-beat sports aesthetic. It features a high waistline; bulging and textured wings; minimum overhangs front and rear; and golf ball-style alloy wheels, placed in the furthest corners of the body. After a longer inspection, it is this car's "open" physique that appeals - promising a fulfilling drive, while expressing a wealth of inventiveness and elegance.

Powering the concept uses a small three-cylinder petrol engine with “plenty of performance on tap” according to the press release, as the compact (3.45 m long, 1.80 m wide, 1.52 m high and with a 2.30 m wheelbase) vehicle should be quite light, which, as per the brand, offers enough power to a vehicle of this size and weight

Among the other styling details there are golf ball-style alloy wheels, a square relief design resembling the sections of a tennis net on many parts of the car, integration of the lights into the bumper instead of the sheet metal and Lacoste covered stowage in its dashboard and under the two bench seats.

The concept cars will be showcased at the Paris Motor Show on 30th Sep, 2010.

A Citroën apresentou nesta semana o novo modelo para a linha C4 o Exclusive Sport. Que vem com motor 2.0 16V Flex.

Ele vem equipado com câmbio manual de cinco marchas, faróis de xenônio e sistema ESP.

Os preços partem de R$ 60.900 e se optar pela versão com transmissão automática de 4 velocidades, o preço vai para R$ 69.990.

Produção do Citroën Aircross no Brasil

A Citroën iniciou a produção do Aircross, o “fora de estrada” da Citroën, no Brasil, as concessionárias começam a receber as primeiras unidades em setembro.

O Aircross é baseado no C3 Picasso que recebeu detalhes aventureiros. Para a produção dele algumas áreas da fabrica como pintura e chaparia foram adaptadas e alguns departamentos foram criados, um exemplo é a área para colocação de estepe traseiro e as barras instaladas no teto.

Citroën Survolt o elétrico em Le Mans Classic

O Citroën Survolt é um esportivo elétrico que foi apresentado no Salão de Genebra, e agora a Citroën o levou para testes no Le Mans Classic, evento reservado a carros históricos, que foi realizado no circuito francês de Le Mans.

O Survolt tem 3,85 metros de comprimento e possui dois motores elétricos que o deixam com 300 cavalos que o levam de 0 a 100 km/h em apenas 5 segundos e chegando a velocidade máxima 260 km/h.

Ele é alimentado por duas baterias Lithium-ion de 140 kg cada e uma capacidade de 31 kW que o deixam percorrer uma distância de 200 km’s apenas com uma carga.

O carro foi pilotado por Vanina Icxk, filha do ex-piloto belga de Fórmula 1 Jacky Ickx.

Recall do Citroën Xsara Picasso

O mesmo problema que motivou o recall de 13 unidades do Peugeot 207 agora aparece no Citroën Xsara Picasso (Peugeot e Citroën fazem parte do Grupo PSA). Tal como nos compactos da marca do leão, o defeito na direção afeta poucas unidades da minivan: 27 ao todo da série ano/modelo 2009. Segundo a marca dos chevrons, a irregularidade pode causar desgaste não uniforme dos pneus, barulhos na suspensão dianteira e, eventualmente, perda de controle direcional do veículo, com possibilidade de acidente.

Na revisão, que começa nesta quinta-feira (8) em pontos oficiais da Citroën, a marca reapertará as contraporcas dos terminais de direção e, se necessário, fará também o alinhamento da direção. Estão envolvidos na convocação unidades do Xsara Picasso com números de chassi entre 9B513394 a 9B514470. Para melhor orientação aos proprietários dos veículos envolvidos no recall, a fabricante disponibiliza o telefone 0800 011 80 88.

Citroën Metropolis will be on show in the French Pavilion at the Shanghai World Fair from 1st May to 31st October, 2010. Citroën has revealed the spectacular new Citroën Metropolis Concept - a sleek and muscular concept car that pays homage to China's extraordinary development. Created by Citroën's international design team - based in Shanghai since 2008.

Citroen is one of the most creative and adventurous car makers in the world. Just a quick look at some of their past concept, and production, vehicles proves that. However for the Citroen Metropolis concept the company have decided to keep things a little more grounded in reality. It's still a fine looking machine, but it's not quite as crazy as some of their recent stuff.

Reflecting China's avant-garde status, grandeur and vitality, the sleek limousine concept immerses itself in 'Créative Technologie', balancing environmental responsibility with luxurious comfort and driving pleasure. Incorporating a plug-in hybrid drivetrain and Hydractive suspension, Citroën Metropolis produces CO2 emissions of just 70g/km - approximately one fifth that of a conventional engine with equivalent performance.

Citroën Metropolis Concept's distinctive silhouette is a vision of creative and sophisticated luxury with an imposing stature (5.3m long, 2m wide & 1.4m high), reflecting the dynamism and ambition of China in the 21st Century. Powerful and engaging, Citroën Metropolis' subtle 'Pearl Silk' body colour changes under different light conditions, revealing the model's generous curves and ultra-honed detailing.

Citroën Metropolis blends taut lines with smooth surfaces, evidenced particularly at the front where the sculpted, incisive wings and kite-shaped grille merge with the harmonious contours of the bonnet. The streamlined headlamps have an imperious and steely look, giving Citroën Metropolis a natural air of authority.

Citroën Metropolis' powerful hybrid drivetrain utilises an optimised 2-litre V6 petrol engine and a 7-speed, dual-clutch electronic gearbox. At low speeds, Citroën Metropolis runs in Zero Emission Vehicle (ZEV) mode, with its electric motor developing a continuous 55bhp (40kW), peaking at 95bhp (70kW). At steady speeds on main roads and motorways, the petrol powerplant efficiently provides 272bhp (200kW) and 375Nm of torque. When additional performance is required, such as during overtaking, the car uses both the electric motor and the combustion engine to deliver a maximum power output of 460bhp (345kW) and 430Nm of torque - equivalent to a 4-litre V8 petrol engine. There's also a four-wheel drive mode for when extra grip is needed.

Delivering a smooth and cosseting ride experience, Metropolis is specified with Citroën's renowned Hydractive suspension, which dampens even the roughest of road surfaces and improves the car's aerodynamic performance - further helping to reduce CO2 emissions.

Chinais the world's largest automotive market and Citroën's second largest outside Europe - having been established there for 20 years. The Shanghai World Fair is the perfect opportunity for the brand to reassert its international character and to show, once again, the importance it places on the needs and expectations of this rapidly developing market. Recall do Citroën C4 hatch e Pallas

A Citroën anunciou o recall dos modelos C4 Pallas e C4 hatch ano/modelo 2009 e 2010 por um possível problema no sistema de direção assistida. Segundo a marca, os modelos envolvidos podem apresentar endurecimento da direção em manobras rápidas, causando acidentes. Para solucionar o problema, é preciso fazer a atualização do programa no módulo do controle.

Os chassis envolvidos estão na numeração entre 9G533889 e AG518279. Segundo a Citroën, há unidades no intervalo que não estão incluídas no recall. A marca orienta que os clientes entrem em contato pelo telefone 0800 011 8088 para obter mais informações. Já para a realização do serviço, que será gratuito, é necessário agendar atendimento na rede de concessionárias da marca.

Inside, Survolt’s cockpit is designed like a floating cell with a glass setting held between chrome-finished roll bars.
